About the role

In the position as Control Tower Coordinator you will be part of one of the core teams working with Instabee’s day-to-day operations. The role is based in Amsterdam but you will collaborate with the Nordic team. The Control Tower is supporting and monitoring all workflows and processes to ensure that everything is going according to plan. You will actively receive, handle or coordinate various issues or incidents in Operations, in collaboration with relevant teams, to ensure as smooth operations as possible. Further, you and your team will actively ensure that any issues are solved or escalated, that we have continuous improvement and a high level of quality. This is a full-time position and you will be working in shifts on all weekdays.

What you will do

• Act as a point-of-contact for many internal departments and terminals, but also external contacts such as Merchants

• Ensure that information is efficiently and accurately communicated to the relevant parties in the day-to-day

• Ensure schedule adherence for route departures and arrivals for pick-up, linehaul and last mile, as well as sorting processes, to increase on-time performance and reducing Lateness as a core KPI

• Receive feedback and insights from Customer Service regarding the perceived quality of our customers' experience

• Act as second line support for our drivers, handling and coordinating more complex issues or accidents

• Reduce technical constraints or blocks on Operations, by providing Product and Tech teams with feedback and insights on discovered issues or bugs

  
  

  About you

• For the position as Control Tower Coordinator we think that you are a driven person with a technical interest. You are comfortable in having a lot of different work tasks and have no problem with communicating with different teams in a clear and effective way. Furthermore, we believe you are humble and open-minded, with a passion to solve problems and help others. You are ready to take the next step within Instabee and make sure our day-to-day operations are going smoothly.

• You are comfortable with working in different systems, and have a good technical understanding

• You can keep calm in stressful situations and prioritize among different tasks

• You are able to collaborate with others as well as managing projects on your own

• You enjoy analyzing different problems that may arise and have no problem coming up
  with your own suggestions or solutions

• You have good communication skills in both writing and speaking, as well as a
  pedagogical way of expressing yourself

• You are able to work in different shifts during all weekdays, currently within 07:00-23:00 on weekdays and 09:00-22:30 on weekends

• You are fluent in both Dutch and English
