Controller to the FP&A team - Benelux 

This is a permanent (full-time) Controller position in Instabee’s Financial Planning & Analysis team. The role is preferably based in Amsterdam, whereas the rest of the team is located in Stockholm. The person will also work closely together with the other teams within Finance (Accounting, Group Finance and Corporate Development) as well as with the regional (Benelux) management team.

About the role (responsibilities include):

• This role will focus on the Dutch and Belgian markets. It consists of both financial controller- and business controller-related tasks (see examples below).

• Support Accounting in the monthly book-close processes. As accounting is outsourced in these markets, a major task is to be the main point of contact for the external, local accounting agency.

• Through analyses and discussions with stakeholders in the organization provide accruals for the month-end closing.

• Create management accounts based on the monthly financials.

• Perform deviation analysis (vs. budget/forecast/previous periods) of monthly financials. Write comments to monthly management reports.

• Compile EBITDA estimates on a weekly basis, based on the most recent financial and operational performance.

• Compile key KPIs/metrics to the regional management team on a weekly basis.

• Develop and communicate KPIs.

• Support the rest of the FP&A team in forecast updates, taking responsibility for the Benelux markets.

• Support in ad-hoc analyses, e.g. business cases, profitability analyses, creating materials to the Board of Directors.

About you

• A Bsc/Msc in Business Administration, Economics or other relevant field of study.

• Approx. 5-10 years in a controlling function.

• Fluent in English and preferably in Dutch.

• Important skills: accounting, financial modeling, financial/data analysis, people/cooperation skills.

• Prestigeless, happy to work with both “repetitive” tasks and complicated analyses.
