Service Technican (NL)
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on service technician that can support our rapid growth in the Netherlands by making sure that all of our terminal technology and equipment is running and supporting our business efficiently. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Ground Operations, Automation Manager and Terminal Managers.
Responsibilities in this role, but is not limited to, are:
- Project management in regards to development and optimization work
- Identify improvement areas in the service and maintenance processes to enable high uptime
- Performing and planning for predictive and regular maintenance of sorting machines incl. cameras and sensors and other technology equipment
- Work closely together with our suppliers to establish and implement processes
- Support on ad-hoc efforts to repair any broken equipment
Budbee is always working to develop new solutions for our operations. This can be about improving existing machines or developing new machines. You will be an important part of this work.
Requirements
- Tech-savvy and solution-oriented when it comes to practical tasks (engineering-related background or previous experience is a plus)
- Knowledgeable in conveyor/auto equipment specifications and PLC control system
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Understanding of software system interaction with hardware equipment
- Good understanding of safety compliance requirements of equipment design
- Drivers license
