Welcome to Budbee's tactical operations team - the heart and soul of our transportation, box- and home delivery service! The Tactical Operations team are responsible for making sure that every parcel is transported in an efficient and environmentally friendly way, all the way from the Merchants to the end consumer while strategically planning and executing on our expansion to new cities.

About the role
As an Operations Associate at Budbee, you will be responsible for developing the collaboration between our terminals, merchants, couriers and drivers in Finland. You’ll make sure that the operations within our last-mile, pickup and linehaul is running smoothly, efficiently and assuring quality on a daily basis. You’ll be in charge of improving our flows as we grow and play a key role in finding and growing with new partners as well as expanding our business in Finland. 

You will work closely with the Finnish operations, commercial and terminal teams, as well as other teams around the company. Furthermore, you will be part of a young, highly motivated team in a rapidly growing environment with room for your own initiatives. This is an amazing opportunity to join a team of young talents building up the Finnish organization from scratch, within a successful scale-up. For this position, you will be based in Helsinki and report to the Head of Tactical Operations Nordics.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years work experience, preferably in an operational setting, consulting or start-up

• Fluent in Finnish and English, both oral and written

• Strong organizational skills - You are fun and confront challenges with a smile

• Have ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well!

• Negotiation and cooperation skills - we want to build mutually beneficial long-term relationships with the best performing partners

• Drivers license (B)
