About the role
As Corporate Legal Counsel (Digital) at Budbee, you are offered an exciting job with both commercial and legal challenges on a group level across European markets. You will play an important role in building and developing our Digital leg; negotiating and drafting commercial contracts; building new business models and co-operations, and giving high-quality legal and strategic advice in general corporate matters on our expansive growth journey.
You will work cross-functionally with various aspects of commercial law, with the main focus on Digital, Tech, IP, and Communications, and you will handle personal data issues (GDPR) together with our DPO as well as provide general legal advice. As you become an important part of our organization, not only being a support function but rather being a strategic partner to the entire business, you will constantly encounter a large variety of matters, both of varying degrees of difficulty and character.
As Budbee Legal is relatively new to the company, being in its own scale-up phase, this is a unique opportunity to be part of building our legal function and grow together with the company!
The role is located at our soon-to-be new HQ in Stockholm and you will report to the General Counsel.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for you with a degree in law from a Swedish university, coupled with at least three+ years of work experience, preferably from a larger well-renowned law firm or as an in-house legal counsel in a company. You have worked with commercial and business law, perhaps in an international environment, and have good experience in commercial contracts, privacy-related questions, and the Digital field.
As a person, you are positive, curious, and highly flexible, and you have excellent analytical skills and strong business judgment. Complex challenges excite you, and you are even more excited about solving them. In our world, everything (almost) is possible, and you share this mindset with us.
You are structured and able to work efficiently both independently and in teams. You work with high integrity and have the capacity of performing in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment with high-quality commercial and legal expertise.
You're communicative and have a talent for networking. On a softer scale, you're caring and contribute to a friendly atmosphere among your colleagues.
Fluency in Swedish and English, written as well as verbal, is mandatory for this role.
The preferred start date is 1st of April.
