Working at Budbee’s Tech department is amazing. We work cross-functionally with colleagues to achieve the best tech experience and are divided in three areas:
The three teams within the commercial sector work to ensure the best possible user experiences for both merchants and consumers. By building new and improving existing software solutions, we aim to constantly enhance the customer journey for those two target groups. The Consumer and Shopping teams work collaboratively to make sure customers are able to find the right products and get the most out of the delivery experience. We do this by steadily improving functionality, increasing transparency and finding new ways to communicate with our consumers. The merchant team ensures the same seamless experience through the technology we use towards the merchants we work with.
The three teams within the operations area are Ground Operations, Tactical Operations and Last Mile. The purposes of these product teams are centered around ensuring quality deliveries to the customer, whether it is about optimizing the last mile journey or the terminal journey before that. To ensure fast lead times, high processing capabilities in terminals and quality deliveries the operations area are constantly working on improving the tech and processes for the terminal workers, the logistical network (moving between terminals), optimizing routes for our drivers, improving tech and processes for our drivers and ensuring that we know exactly where a parcel is on its way to our consumers.
The four teams working within Budbee’s tech foundation area are Algorithm, Machine Learning, Finance Technology and Analytics. These teams work with software development in a constantly evolving technology environment and drive innovation to keep us at the forefront in our industry. They are all implementing different products that aim to innovate, streamline and optimize our services, so that we as a company can make data-driven decisions that take us in the direction we want.
